My name is Carol and I’m a Pee-On-A-Stick-a-holic. 

When some women are trying to conceive, they’ll wait until their period is quite a few days late and then they’ll pop out to the shops to buy one single pregnancy test which will confirm their pregnancy with a two big fat pink lines!

But for every one of these level-headed, sensible women, there are at least 10 of us crazy POAS-a-holics, who start testing within DAYS of ovulating and test pretty much every day until we THINK we start to see the faintest of faint lines. Then, the self-torture begins … is that really a BFP line? Or is it an evaporation line? Did it appear within the time limit? Am I the only one who can see it??? So we ‘up the ante’ and maybe test TWICE a day …. yep, I think that line is starting to get darker … or is it??? … argh!

So, for all us women who want a second pair of eyes to confirm “YES, there’s a line” and “YES, it’s getting darker”, I decided to create CanYouSeeALine.com! Hopefully the site will evolve into the biggest collection of HPT photos on the net, so we can all check out each other’s tests, search for tests with similar DPOs, search for lines with specific HCG levels, etc.
